CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY
Our philosophy is to help children know, love, and follow Jesus. We have a staff of caring volunteers who pray for the children and their families. Due to the unique and varied needs of the children, our Children’s Ministry emphasizes personal faith development, biblical training, family ties and social development.
The purpose of the New Shiloh Baptist’s youth ministries is to lead young people to Jesus Christ, disciple them in their faith, to encourage them to take active roles in building and shaping their youth program, and to equip them for ministry and service. In addition to the spiritual programs the Youth Ministry offers: mentoring, choir, education and travel. Our philosophy is stated succinctly in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when his is old he will not depart from it.”
New Shiloh Baptist Church has action-packed children’s and youth programs designed for children between the ages of 3 and 18 years. (Rev. Dr. Nycole P. Lyles-Belton)
