CHILDREN AND YOUTH MINISTRY
Our philosophy is to help children know, love, and follow Jesus.
We have a staff of caring volunteers who pray for the children and their
families. Due to the unique and varied needs of the children, our Children's
Ministry emphasizes personal faith development, biblical training, family ties
and social development. The purpose of the New Shiloh Baptist's youth ministries
is to lead young people to Jesus Christ, disciple them in their faith, to
encourage them to take active roles in building and shaping their youth program,
and to equip them for ministry and service. In addition to the spiritual
programs the Youth Ministry offers: mentoring, choir, education and travel. Our
philosophy is stated succinctly in Proverbs 22:6, "Train up a child in the way
he should go and when his is old he will not depart from it." New Shiloh
Baptist Church has action-packed children's and youth programs designed
for children between the ages of 3 and 18 years. (Rev.

CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
Christian
Education Ministry provides continuing Christian Education to people of all
ages. This service ministry provides resources and programs to assist in the
study of God's Word. Bible study classes, workshops and special programs are
designed to share the Good News of Jesus Christ. This includes, Sunday School
for all ages, Bible Study for all ages and Special Christian Education Classes
for Christian growth and development.

DANCE MINISTRY
The mission of the Shiloh Praise Dance Ministry is to witness
through dance expression, to enhance Christian lives by providing an opportunity
where the entire body can be used in worship and glorifying God. To keep our
focus on whom we live, move ,and have our being.

DEACON FAMILY MINISTRY
We want to make certain that every member and family in our
church experience the love and support of the whole congregation. We want to be
known throughout our community as a loving and caring church.
It is a plan through which
the deacons can join the pastor and church staff in ministering to the physical,
spiritual and emotional needs of each church member and family. In addition, the
Deacons aid the pastor and help promote the spirituality of the church.

EVANGELISM
MINISTRY
The Evangelism Ministry will equip the Shiloh Baptist Church
family to build relationships and lead people into a life-changing relationship
with Jesus Christ. Develop a heart for those who don't Know Jesus Christ. Learn
to share the gospel in your own personal spheres of influence. Make our ministry
more evangelistic. See our need for life-long equipping in evangelism. Grow in
personal evangelism by providing high quality outreach events. Overcome barriers

FIRST FAMILY MINISTRY
The First Family Ministry exists to support the First Family of
New Shiloh. For our Senior Pastor: purchasing and maintaining the Pastor's
robes, providing transportation and escorts to events. The Ministry provides
care and assistance to the Pastor and his family as requested and as necessary;
to ease his burden in providing pastoral care to the membership of the New
Shiloh Baptist Church. For our First Lady and the Children of the Family: we
maintain the items used for ministry, including supplies and refreshments, and
provide support whenever she is called upon to do God's work -- both in this
place, as well as other churches. We keep her in prayer and travel with her on
her mission assignments. If you have "an armor-bearer's heart" we pray
that you will consider assisting this ministry.

GREETERS
MINISTRY
This is the welcoming ministry of the church. The purpose of our
greeters is to provide a sincere welcome to people as they enter the house of
the Lord. They are also available to help visitors feel welcome by giving them a
tour of the church, introducing them to the Pastors, showing them where the
children’s ministry is, and giving them an information packet about the church.

HOUR OF
POWER BIBLE STUDY
Hour of Power Bible study is where the Bible is taught
verse-by-verse and book-by-book. In such a group believers will have the
opportunity to grow in spirit and heart and increase in their knowledge of the
Word of God. Members come to know each other and will have the opportunity to
encourage one another, pray for one another, teach one another, and love one
another. Teaching people how to study the Bible in a simple, clear, and concise
way, providing seminars, discipleship tools, training and resources for

MEN’S
MINISTRY
The purpose of the Men Ministry is to initiate social, corporate
fellows among the men. We believe that God's plan is to make men the leader in
their homes. Our Men’s Ministry provides a opportunities for men to grow in
their faith. Each Men's fellowship meeting challenges us to be godly men. In
addition, the Men’s Ministry creates an opportunity for the men of our church to
interact with one another and to pray for each other. We also provide an
informal opportunity for men to grow spiritually and relationally. Throughout
the year, the Men of SBC sponsors activities and Men’s Fellowship Week-end.
Our men's ministry is a great way for men to make friends and work on
growing spiritually at the same time.

MUSIC MINISTRY
The music ministry seeks to provide opportunities for the service
of God in individual and corporate worship, evangelism, discipleship, fellowship
through song in an effort to support the mission and ministry of the New Shiloh
Baptist Church in Kingdom Building. Choirs are; Children’s Choir, United Voices
of Praise ( Youth/Young Adult Choir), Deliverance Choir ( adult choir) and the

The purpose of the our New
Member Ministry is to facilitate the assimilation of new members that God adds
to the church family. The New Member Ministry will plan, implement and

PRISON MINISTRY
I was in Prison and You Came unto Me - Mathew 25: Serving all
inmates in Correctional Facilities, New Shiloh is dedicated to letting those
incarcerated know that Jesus still, heals delivers and sets free. Whatever we
do, we should do it as unto the Lord Jesus Christ and for God's glory and to
increase access to His Kingdom. Under the direction of our Senior Pastor we keep
in contact with those who are incarcerated and provide a safe haven of Christian
Fellowship and Re-entry when they return to the community.

SAMARITAN NURSE / HEALTH MINISTRY
The Nurses and Health Ministry seeks to assist members
individually and corporately in the effort to worship and live lives that are an
offering of praise unto God. The mission of the Nurses Ministry is to serve with
commitment and dedication. Their vision and purpose is to be of service to our
Senior Pastor and First Lady, to help wipe away tears of those that need
comforting, to aide the waiting congregation, also to be of cheer to help with
physical comfort and spiritual strength to those that stand in the need of
prayer. To lift those that need lifting whatever the circumstance may be; for
Christ said "If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me". (

SECURITY TEAM
MINISTRY
The Mission of the Security Team Ministry of New Shiloh is to
provide a secure environment for the members and visitors of New Shiloh. The
Security serves in the capacity of directing parking on Sundays and special
services, providing security for the entire facility of New Shiloh and serves as
Adjutants to our Senior Pastor. In addition the Security Team assist with ensure
the safety of New Shiloh at outside activities, when appropriate. Security Team
Members are appointed by the Chief of Security.

The Mission of the Scholarship Ministry is to work with the Youth
Ministry using Prov. 22:6 as our guide. We strive to recognize the academic
accomplishments of the Youth of New Shiloh , through encouragement and spiritual
and financial support as they move to the post secondary level of their

SINGLES MINISTRY
The Singles’ Ministry of
New Shiloh is primarily focused on the special needs
and concerns of
single Men and Women of the church. The ministry provides, support,
socialization, and Biblical training on the aspects of living a single life.
Its activities include bible study, attending conferences, cultural and social
activities, book discussions, workshops, and special services and events.
The Singles’ Ministry is closely associated with the Men’s and Women's Ministry
of New Shiloh. This ministry will ensure that all single men and women of New
Shiloh are aware of ministry meeting dates, times and activities. This ministry
also produces a monthly Newsletter called Singles of Shiloh. All single men and
women of New Shiloh are welcome. (Evangelist

TRUSTEE
MINISTRY
The Trustee Ministry shall in accordance with the power of the
Holy Spirit, collect, receive, process and deposit all tithes, offerings and
contributions made to the New Shiloh Baptist Church for the purpose of achieving
its mission goals. The Trustee Ministry assist the Senior Pastor in carrying out
the Vision and Mission of the Church. The Trustees hold in trust the Church
property and are responsible for the safekeeping of all legal documents.

TRANSPORTATION
MINISTRY
The purpose of the Transportation Ministry is to provide
transportation for members and visitors to and from church services and
activities as requested. Transportation services will also be provided to and
from outside engagements as secured by the church and its ministries. (Deacon

USHERS MINISTRY
The mission of the Ushering Ministry is to provide comfort and
promote the fellowship necessary in God's house. Church Ushers are doorkeepers
in the house of God, and guard same at all times. As an officer of the church,
the usher aids the Pastor by "ministering" to the congregation to ensure a right
attitude and spirit for receiving the proclaimed message. This is done in such
ways as: Greeting persons with a smile. Extending a warm welcome and directing
people to a comfortable seat. Maintaining order at all times, for God is not the
author of confusion. A good usher must have Christ-like minds with Christ-like
ways, and is like a lamp on a stand, "not put under a bushel, but on a
candlestick that giveth light unto all that are in the house." (Matthew 5:15).
The Usher must make "oneself a committee of one, to help one another" in
fulfilling God's plan of teaching and serving. (Deaconess Agnes Richardson)

WOMEN’S
MINISTRY
Women's Ministry is designed for the specific purpose of
reaching, teaching, encouraging, equipping and unifying women; until we all
attain oneness in faith, maturity in Jesus Christ, ready for every good work.
This Ministry is also responsible for the Married Women’s Ministry Annual Men’s
